For any questions or concerns please email us at theimagemuseum@aol.com

Can TheImageMuseum.com frame my photographs?
Yes. TheImageMuseum.com recognizes that framing is an important part of displaying your photographs. Framing is available for all our Limited and Open Edition photographs. We use 1 ¼” or 2" wide black molding with an acid free, double matte and acrylic glazing.

How do I know if my photograph is authentic?
TheImageMuseum.com is an Authorized Dealer for all Collections listed on our site. All Limited and Open Edition photographs will also include a Certificate of Authenticity.

Where are the photographs signed?
The photographer's signature will be on the bottom right hand side of those Limited Edition items that are signed by the photographer. If your photograph is also numbered, you will find the signature on the bottom left hand side of the image.

If I cannot find a specific photograph on the web site I know to be in one of your Collections, can you access their archives for me?
We regularly display new photographs on TheImageMuseum.com. If you are looking for a particular image from one of our Collections please feel free to email us at theimagemuseum@aol.com.

What are the size, resolution and quality of your photographs?
The size of each photograph as published is listed in its description section. To comply with our agreements with the image copyright holders, the images presented on our web site are small with low resolution. All have digital watermarks. The watermarks will not appear on the published photograph purchased by you.

Is a catalog of your photographs available?
We do not currently publish a printed catalog of our photographs. New photographs are offered regularly at our online store, TheImageMuseum.com.

Where can I obtain information specific to a particular photograph?
You can obtain information for each of the images displayed on our site including photographer, title, date (if known), description, history of the photograph, and available sizes by clicking on its thumbnail. If you have further questions regarding individual photographs please contact us at theimagemuseum@aol.com.

Can I feature any of these photographs in my own publication?
International copyright laws protect all photographs displayed on TheImageMuseum.com. Please see our “Your Privacy” section for detailed information regarding copyrights and trademarks.

Why does it take time to receive my photographs?
Most of our Open and Limited Edition photographs are hand-printed specifically for you one at a time in a custom photo darkroom. Signed Limited Edition photos are not warehoused. Once ordered by and printed for you, these photos are then sent to the photographer for his or her approval and signature. This can be a time consuming process, but insures the "uniqueness" of your purchase and contributes to its intrinsic value.

How are the photographs sold on this site different from posters? Our images are not posters.
Posters are mechanically produced and printed on poster board. In contrast, our images are branded and hand printed specifically for you. Black & white photographs are traditional silver gelatin prints and are available printed either on archival, double-weight fiber-based paper, or on resin-coated (RC) semi-matte finish paper. Color photographs are Chromogenic prints, printed on RC paper. Most photographs are printed directly from the original medium, usually the camera negative or transparency. Limited Edition photographs are printed directly from the original camera negative when available, or when the original negative doesn't exist or is damaged, from a dupe or copy negative housed in the archive of the Collection. As can be seen by the above, you have purchased a valuable piece of art, one easily distinguishable from a poster, and ready for display in your gallery.

How do I clean my framed photograph?
We do not use glass to frame our images as glass can easily damage the photographic prints. We only use UV protected acrylic glazing. An acrylic cleaner must be used to clean our framed prints. Do NOT use Windex or similar cleaning products.

What should I do before unpacking my photograph?
These fine art photographs are extremely delicate and can be damaged easily. All images are shipped in flat packs. The flat pack needs to be opened properly and the photographs need to be handled carefully! You will receive a document with your photograph(s). PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY BEFORE REMOVING YOUR PHOTOGRAPH FROM THE PACKAGING.
